The largest automotive distributor and transporter in North America, Allied Automotive Group operates approximately 4,000 modern tractor-trailers out of approximately 90 terminal locations that crisscross the United States and Canada. The Company partners with all major manufacturers, domestic and import, to deliver over 9 million vehicles a year. This includes transporting vehicles to dealers from plants, rail ramps, ports, and auctions, and providing vehicle rail-car loading and unloading services as well as corresponding support services for customer, employee, maintenance, and safety operations.

A Product Of Our History
If this was being written the year we were founded, 1934, it would speak proudly about the Company’s two trucks and trailers with the capacity to haul three cars on their respective flat beds. Yes, we’ve come a long way.

Change Allowed Yes, Allied Automotive Group has grown in every way imaginable — from geographic scope to revenue level. However, and we are quite serious about this, there is one element of our heritage and our success that we are absolutely committed to maintaining. And that is the fact we are a company that was founded on, and continues to operate around, a fundamental respect for the individual. It is this "human touch" approach that underpins our solid, lasting relationships with customers and guides our focus on the safety and well-being of our employees. In addition, our unique Chaplaincy Program, a non-denominational, counseling-oriented service for employees and their families, is provided at all terminal locations and the corporate office. Are there tangible outcomes of our "we care" attitude? Many. But here are two of the most important examples. One: Our very first customer, more than six decades ago, is still a major customer. Two: AAG’s driver turnover of less than 10 percent contrasts dramatically with the trucking industry’s traditional turnover of 100 percent or more. |
